What can I possibly say about Rocco Trombetta!? He is a master of his craft! He is INCREDIBLY patient as I had to postpone our event several times. He was communicative, followed up, and checked in which was so refreshing! He hosted a Holiday Party for my office last night and kept 20+ people engaged and listening for the ENTIRE time! He was charming, funny, witty, and really passionate about his work. He is knowledgeable in all things wine and is humble and so sweet! BOOK HIM! I had hired Rocco for my wife’s 40th birthday party and it was a surprise party. Rocco was very helpful from the onset in helping me plan the wine tasting segment of the event which turned out to be an instant hit. Rocco’s knowledge of Italy and the wines from across Italy is a such a pleasant experience as we built our birthday celebration theme around and our friends that attended the event such a high quality blind wine tasting experience. Rocco led a wine tasting event for my father-in-law’s 60th birthday. There were six people at our event, and he did a great job engaging us – with fantastic story-telling, which educated us on the various Italian wine types and regions. My father-in-law, who is very into wine education, was particularly impressed and said it was the best wine tasting class he had experienced. We’d happily recommend Rocco again. Rocco is great! I booked him on behalf of a corporate group meeting in-house, in our hotel, and they loved him! Rocco is so nice and genuine and you can just feel how passionate he is about wine, just by standing near him! The wine tasting dinner he hosted for my group was a major hit. I will definitely be recommending Rocco as the sommelier to any future groups of mine that inquire about a possible wine tasting.

Rocco is the real deal. He shared his passion for wine and tailored the presentation for our group. Many of us had little to no experience with fine wines. We asked Rocco to come to our house and hold a wine tasting experience for 9 adults. Rocco was punctual and arrived early. He was warm and friendly and immediately hit it off with my entire family. Rocco wqs knowledgable- and even incorporated wine from my families native region in Italy. The first part of the tasting was a brief history and guide of Italian wine. We spent the second half tasting, laughing, talking, and eating. Overall this was a 5 star experience that everyone in my family loved. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to do something a bit different. If you or someone you know is interesting in learning about wine, it’s history, how it’s made, how to taste it- Rocco is your guy.

I was looking for a unique birthday activity for my husbands birthday and while doing a Google search came across the prospect of hiring a sommelier to come to my home. Glad I did! Rocco responded to my inquiry within a day and thoroughly explained the ins and outs of how the evening would flow. My guests were extremely pleased with the event! Rocco was great!! If there was 10 stars I would give him 15!!! We were a party of 10, some with more knowledge about wine than others, ages ranging from 37-70, and we all enjoyed the experience he provided. I would definitely book another party with Rocco!
